We've Converted

A few weeks ago, Carrie and I bought some cfl's. We've been surprised. When you compare the light to a regular bulb, its very white. Our other bulbs look yellow in comparison. The thing you have to look for though, is lumen's, not watts. I bought 60 watt, 800 lumen bulbs. Three of those in our living room, and you could mistake it for an operating room. Wow. I think we'll step down on the lumen's for the rest of the house. I'm just glad I didn't buy the 840 lumen's. I do like them though, we also have a lamp in the living room, and one bulb is enough to watch TV by, and if they make our power bill come down, that's cool too.
