Lately

Yesterday I had the day off and decided to go for a hike. It was in the 60's and I've put on a few holiday pounds and I figured I had no excuse. I went to Old Pickens Church, Oconee Station, and Station Cove Falls. I am out of shape, but after seeing a few other "hikers",I realized that I could be in worse shape. The church and Oconee Station were cool, but the lack of rain reduced the falls to a trickle. Last night at church was cool, we started a new series called "crank it up" and I realized that I need to spend more time with God. So I'm going to spend a few minutes every morning reading and praying. The mornings work better for me, even though I'm having a hard time convincing myself of that early in the morning. I'm also off today (don't envy me, I'll have to work 6 days to pay for it) along with Carrie, so this will be a good day to clean house, if there is such a thing. I also have about 2 months of garbage to haul off, and Shaunes truck does need the exercise. TTFN.
