Keeping in Touch

Its a new year. Wow. This year I get to keep up with my Brother on the other side of the world. Hes in Kabul, Afghanistan, for ten months or so. Were trying to get some supplies to him now. They have a military store, (PX) that they can get some things, but not others. He told me he couldn't get a lamp, or a tape measure, but he can get a 32 inch TV. I don't understand it either. I think my Brother and I are going to set up an exchange. They have a varied market for rugs, antiques, etc. So this should be an interesting year. I wish the sun would dry my yard today, Jack is getting cabin fever.
